JPs Trail Dig Day Part Three

Join TDU to help create a few trail updates and reroutes to JPs Trail near Schallenberger Ridge. This project has been made possible by CA State Parks and Truckee Donner Land Trust. The goals are far reaching with future aspirations of connecting JPs into the Donner Lake Rim Trail’s southeast section.

JPs trail was Truckee’s first MTB ride. Originating in 91’ this trail is due for some upgrades and the OG trail crew will be on-site to tell you about it’s raw and rowdy history. Also, we will be riding down and regrouping at China Cove State Beach for a fun TDU BBQ lakeside to celebrate the Summer season.

*Bring a friend, bike, helmet, gloves, and a smile. See you there.

Details:

• Meet at 12:30 pm in front of Pacos Bike Shop Ready to Ride/Dig.

• If you want to hike in you can also do that from the Coldstream trailhead.

• Bring a helmet, gloves, eye protection, and hydration/nutrition for approximately four hours of high quality active forest time.

• BBQ and refreshments provided at approximately 3:40 pm near China Cove State Beach.

• Parking available near Pacos Bike Shop.
